rather than elevating Pentecostalism to a universal ideal, I suggest that Pentecostal thought and praxis function as indispensable catalysts for the development of global Christianity that Pentecostalism perpetuates at the cost of its own particularity. The articulation of Christian theology at the dawn of the twenty-first century is inevitably confronted with Pentecostal imagination and spirituality.
